This is a traditional cottage style property dating back to the 12 Century.

The cottage stands alone surrounded by farmland.

When leaving the adopted highway you turn over a cattle grid and must open and close a farm gate to access the private concrete road.  The concrete road then becomes a stony track and the cottage is approximately ½ a mile at the end of the track.  Before entering the parking area in front of the cottage another farm gate must be opened and closed.

There is ample parking to the front of the cottage consisting of stone chippings.  The pathway to the cottage is stone flagstones and there is a UPVC door frame to step over to enter the property.  The front entrance clearance is approximately 740mm.  The back entrance has a flight of high stone steps, which we think would be difficult for persons with limited mobility.

On the ground floor the lounge is spacious and carpeted, and benefits from a double sofa bed.  All other ground floor rooms have ceramic tile flooring.  The bathroom is downstairs.  There is a doorway in the dining room which opens revealing the staircase with 12 steps and this brings you straight into the double bedroom.  The twin bedroom is accessed directly from the double and there is a rather low/narrow doorway into a walk in wardrobe area.

The lighting in the cottage is good and accessible.  Power point heights vary throughout the cottage.

Due to nature of track approaching cottage sports vehicles which have low chassis would not gain access.
